Catherine studied Computer Science at Virginia Tech, where she developed a strong foundation in problem-solving and became increasingly interested in how those skills could be applied to UX and visual design. That interest led her to pivot into product design, starting with an internship at Intuit, where she gained hands-on experience designing and shipping features within a real-world product team.

She now works at Deloitte Digital, designing interfaces, web applications, and portal experiences for government clients. Working in the public sector has shaped her approach to focus on simplifying complex workflows and improving usability within large, often legacy systems, with an emphasis on clear, user-centered design.
